Katz uses oils, collage and flat painterly images, painting in a graphical and bold manner, defining a career that started in the 1950's, the influences of his style, use of colour and crisp forms being evident in the work of his contemporaries including the Pop Art movement.

His exhibition Give Me Tomorrow is showcasing at the Turner Contemporary in Margate, within the collection Katz has included work from previous shows spanning over six decades. Think Furniture selected the Vitra Tip Ton and the Map Table due to the cool ,clean ,defined appearance that works well with both the Katz installation but also with the contemporary nature of the actual Gallery itself.
